A moderate amount of walking is involved (4 to 5 hours). The hike is demanding, so a good fitness level is required
An English-speaking tour guide will accompany you throughout the day. Audio guides are available in English, Spanish, Italian, French, German, and Russian. Internet connection is required to download and use the audio guide
As with all lifts, the one used for the hike to The Seven Rila Lakes may stop anytime due to factors such as strong winds or power cuts. In the rare case that this happens, an alternative hike will be offered on the spot by the guide. Refunds cannot be provided under these circumstances
The ideal time for this tour is from mid-June to mid-September. Outside these months, the availability of the tour is weather-dependent and subject to the operation of the chairlift. Be prepared for potentially wet and slippery conditions, with lingering snow in some areas. Adequate equipment such as sturdy trekking boots, waterproof clothing, and warm layers beneath your jacket is essential. Please note that some of the lakes may still be covered in snow during these periods
