The tour requires a supported mobile device for navigation: an iPhone running iOS 15 or later, an Android device running Android 9 or later, or an iPad/tablet with GPS and cellular service.
It is possible to drive the Big Sur in one day, but to fully enjoy the road trip and explore all the side routes and attractions along the way, it's suggested to stay overnight in the coastal towns of San Simeon, Cambria or along the route
