Before European explorers arrived in Alaska, dog sledding was an integral part of Alaskan life. Despite the distances between villages, traveling with dog teams remains the preferred mode of transport. Today, locals still rely on dog teams for hunting and travel; enthusiasts enjoy exploring the wilderness with these man's best friends, making it a popular sport. Here, you will have ample time for close encounters with sled dogs. You will ride a sled alongside the dogs, exploring the snow-covered forests of Alaska.

This tour is suitable for all ages and is specially designed for general tourists who want to experience the speed and excitement of dogs, ensuring a comfortable and safe journey. Furthermore, you'll have the opportunity to learn about Alaskan Huskies, dog sledding, and related competitions. You'll also learn how these adorable creatures, as man's best friend, live and thrive on this land alongside their owners.

Depart in the morning by shuttle bus to the dog sledding experience center. Upon arrival (subject to real-time road conditions), please wait briefly in our lounge. Once your dog and lumberjack are ready, staff will come to inform you to begin your 30-minute dog sledding experience.

Afterwards, take our shuttle bus back to downtown Fairbanks and your hotels to conclude a perfect day.

Purchase Notice

1. Professional tour guide service throughout the trip; tours depart with a minimum of 2 people.

2. The two people ride together on one sled.

3. Departure time is subject to the tour guide's notification.

4. The price includes: round-trip transportation from a designated hotel in Fairbanks city center to the dog sledding experience center, a 20-30 minute dog sledding session.

Sledding experience; snacks, hot drinks, and board games in the lounge. Outdoor clothing, shoes, hats, and gloves rental (limited styles, first come, first served).

5. The following are not included in the price: personal meals; other activity costs; lumberjack gratuities (recommended $5 per person); driver/guide gratuities (recommended $5 per person per one-way trip).

  • A minimum of 2 traveler(s) are required for the tour to depart. If the number of participants does not reach the minimum requirement, the tour will be canceled. An email regarding tour cancellation will be sent 3 day(s) before the departure date

  • In case of delays caused by traffic, weather, or other force majeure factors resulting in the cancellation of some itinerary attractions, please contact customer service. We will arrange a partial refund for you

  • In the event of inclement weather such as typhoons or snowstorms, a decision on whether to cancel the tour will be made 1 day(s) before departure (local time 06:00). Notifications will then be sent via email

  • Travelers with the following conditions or other health issues that could be worsened by excessive stimulation should not participate in this activity: Heart disease, Acrophobia, Asthma, Epilepsy, Pregnant women, High blood pressure

  • Please arrive at the designated location 15 minute(s) before the scheduled departure time, as the tour will depart on time
