Departing from Fisherman's Wharf, the tour travels through historic Polk Street before ascending Nob Hill for a close-up view of the stunning Grace Cathedral. From the comfort of our open-top bus, guests can enjoy engaging commentary and fascinating insights into San Francisco's history, culture, and famous landmarks.

The journey continues across the Bay Bridge to Treasure Island, where guests can take in breathtaking panoramic views of the city skyline at dusk. Returning to the city, the tour concludes along the Embarcadero, offering beautiful views of the sparkling lights of the Port of San Francisco.

  • Know in advance:Please note this is a non-stop panoramic tour and not hop-on hop-off

  • Occasionally severe weather and special event days could affect the service

  • This tour departs from Stop #1 (Big Bus Tours Visitors' Center) at 6:30 pm. Please arrive 20 - 30 minutes before the tour departing time as seats are subject to availability

  • A child ticket is available for children aged between 3 and 12 years. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Children aged 2 years and under may travel free of charge. Children aged 15 years and under must be accompanied by an adult

  • The audio commentary is available in English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Italian, German, Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean, Japanese

  • This tour does not run on July 4th, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve

  • At the end of the night tour, a courtesy shuttle back to Union Square will be provided

  • Strollers and pushchairs must be folded and stowed on the lower deck

  • Not allowed:You are not allowed to carry or consume alcohol. However, water and other soft drinks are allowed on the bus

  • Accessibility:Big Bus operates wheelchair accessible vehicles that can accommodate a weight up to 650 pounds. Please be advised that the upper deck on our entire fleet in San Francisco is not wheelchair accessible. Passengers with mobility requirements may not be able to access the upper deck of our buses.
