Experience a Balinese tradition and culture. This tour will start with learning a Balinese offering called "Canang" . Then continue to water purification ceremony or known as "Melukat" by balinese.
Melukat is a ritual that uses holy water (tirta) to cleanse the body, mind, and spirit. In Balinese Hindu belief, the ceremony helps remove negative energy, emotional burdens, and spiritual impurities while restoring balance and harmony. This activity will be held at Mengening temple , a temple near Tirta Empul but receiving far fewer visitors, this temple offers a more peaceful atmosphere while maintaining strong spiritual significance. Many locals prefer it because it feels less commercial and more contemplative. A common tip from travelers and locals is to arrive early in the morning and wear the provided sarong and sash.
