Get picked up from the meeting point and head to Lajes do Pico harbor to board a rigid boat specially designed for small groups to enjoy the tour safely and comfortably.

Before the whale and dolphin watching tour, you will have a briefing done by a marine biologist who will give you some directions to follow to observe cetaceans and some details about the species you will be able to observe.

During your boat trip, your crew will guide you to the areas where whales and dolphins are most often seen. You will be able to observe around 30 species of whales and dolphins in their native environment. On Pico Island, blue whales, common whales, and sardine whales are cetaceans that are frequently seen in spring.

This trip in search of dolphins and whales takes about three hours, but the memories will last forever!
