Discover the beautiful Swiss capital which is part of the World Heritage List and visit a typical farm in the Emmental Cheese area.

In the morning you will leave Zurich and make our way to Berne, the capital of Switzerland. You will have a guided tour in the old part of town, where you will find the famous Zytglogge, the landmark medieval tower dating back to the early 13th century, which has served the city as guard tower, prison, clock tower and which is still the centre of local urban life. You will discover where Albert Einstein once lived and admire the beautiful view over the historical city centre, which is part of Unesco world heritage list. If you desire, you will have time to have lunch here.

In the afternoon the tour will continue to the area of Emmental, where the typical Swiss Cheese Emmental comes from. You will visit one of the farms and learn about the life and work of a farmers’ family. You will discover how the renown cheese is made and learn how many liters of milk a cow gives per day. You will be surprised.

In the afternoon you will be transferred back to Zurich by private vehicle with your driver-guide.
