This package offers a seamless journey from Civitavecchia train station to the heart of Rome. A convenient shuttle bus service transports you from the cruise port to Civitavecchia train station, where a train whisks you off to Rome's Termini Station. From there, the city is yours to explore with the included hop-on, hop-off bus ticket.

The bus route encompasses several key attractions such as the Colosseum, Vatican City and Piazza di Spagna. As you travel, listen to the recorded commentary to gain insights into the city's history and culture. The package also includes access to the iconic Colosseum, enhancing your experience further.

To guide your exploration, an audio guide is available via a downloadable app. This tool will help you delve deeper into the magic of Rome, ensuring you don’t miss any of its hidden gems.

  • Please refer to your voucher for final information regarding meeting points, pick-up locations, and pick-up time

  • Meeting point description: Be at the train station at least 15 minutes before your train departure time and make your own way to the correct train platform.(Civitavecchia Train Station, 00053 Civitavecchia, Metropolitan City of Rome Capital, Italy)

  • Extra fees to be paid on-site:Transfer between Civitavecchia port and Civitavecchia train station is not included. You can take a special public transport service that connects the train station with cruise ships and vice versa, which costs €6 each way. Tickets can be purchased directly on board. Alternatively, you can reach the train station on foot in about 20 minutes

  • Know in advance:Depending on the interval you select (8.00 am-9.00 am or 10.00 am-11.00 am), the local tour operator will book the first available train in that interval and send you the train tickets with the exact time. Transfer by train lasts about 1.20h

  • To access the Colosseum it is mandatory to provide the name of each guest with a ticket, so please write the full names of each participant at checkout

  • After booking, you will receive a confirmation email with your voucher attached. For the hop-on hop-off bus tour, show your voucher at City Sightseeing Rome Visitor Centre or on any City Sightseeing buses in Rome to get your City Sightseeing ticket

  • The hop-on hop-off buses have a frequency of about 15 minutes, a tour map is available in the gallery

  • The tour is free for children under 5 years old

  • Access to the Colosseum costs €18 (already included in the tour price). No presale fee is charged to customers. The remaining cost of the experience covers additional services as per the product's description.
