Join a bike tour designed for Rome enthusiasts who want to go beyond the Eternal City's most-known highlights. Enrich your experience and memory of Rome with the charm of rare beauty tucked away from common sight.

You will start this tour with a ride across the Caelian hill which will take you down to the Circus Maximus for a majestic view on the Palatine. Next, you will continue on the Aventine Hill for a visit to the Orange Trees Garden, before crossing the Tiber river for a ride through some of Trastevere's most colorful alleys.

From there, you will bike up a winding path on the Janiculum Hill for an incredibly scenic view of Rome's sprawling city center, from which you can admire its many domes, towers and famous landmarks from a distance. Then you will ride down to St. Peter's Basilica and Castel Sant'Angelo, before crossing the river again.

In the last portion of the tour, you will ride through the vibrant neighborhood surrounding Campo de' Fiori and the Jewish Ghetto, before seeing the little-known Theatre of Marcellus. To top it all off, at the end of the tour, get a panoramic view over the Roman Forum and the Colosseum.

  • Know Before You Go: The length of this tour is 18 kilometers (11 miles). The difficulty level of this tour is leisure (or intermediate with a child seat or child extension mounted on the bicycle).

  • Know Before You Go: Wearing a helmet on the tour is mandatory (helmets are provided)

  • Know Before You Go: Child Policy: Infants younger than 1 year are not allowed to participate in the tour for safety reasons. Infants aged 1-4 travel on a child seat (with a load capacity of up to 22 kg/49 lbs) and join the tour free of charge. For children aged between 5 to 8, a child extension (child streamliner) will be provided. Children aged 9+ (at least 140 cm/55" tall) can independently ride on an appropriately sized e-bike.

  • Know Before You Go: In the case of big public/official events in the center of Rome, some highlights on the itinerary may be substituted with others

  • Know Before You Go: A minimum of 4 participants applies. In case it's not reached, you will be offered an alternative for your tour or a full refund.
