Learn about the demise of the tragic city of Pompeii as Mount Vesuvius looms in the background. Walk the historic streets of Naples and stop in for authentic Neapolitan coffee on this full-day Pompeii and Naples combination tour.

Start your tour at the main entrance of ancient Pompeii: Porta Marina. Learn about the city and the eruption that destroyed it. Go inside the ancient shops, walk along the streets, and see how the Romans lived.

Return to Naples for a rest before you re-group to begin your guided tour of the city's historic center. You’ll start from Piazza Bellini, where you still can see a portion of the Greek walls of the foundation of Naples.

Walk along the ancient Decumano and the old Spaccanapoli, encountering many churches which range from the Middle Ages through to Baroque. Your walking tour will finish off with an authentic Neapolitan coffee tasting.
