Guests will be picked up from their desired location in Agra and begin the journey towards the historic city of Fatehpur Sikri, located around 40 km from Agra.
Built by Emperor Akbar in the 16th century, Fatehpur Sikri once served as the capital of the Mughal Empire and is now recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Upon arrival, guests will explore the grand complex featuring magnificent red sandstone architecture, royal palaces, courtyards and religious monuments. Visit iconic attractions including Buland Darwaza, Jama Masjid, the Tomb of Salim Chishti, Diwan-i-Khas, Panch Mahal and Jodha Bai Palace while learning about the rich history and cultural heritage of the Mughal era.
After exploring Fatehpur Sikri, continue the drive towards the village of Abhaneri in Rajasthan to visit the famous Chand Baori. This spectacular stepwell is considered one of the oldest and deepest stepwells in India, renowned for its unique geometric design and more than 3,500 perfectly aligned steps spread across 13 levels.
Guests will also visit the nearby Harshat Mata Temple, an ancient temple dedicated to the Goddess of Happiness and Joy, admired for its beautiful carvings and historical importance.
Throughout the tour, guests can enjoy scenic countryside views, local village life and excellent photography opportunities while experiencing two of North India’s most fascinating historical sites.
After completing the tour, guests will be comfortably driven back to Agra and dropped off at their preferred location, marking the end of the journey.
