Between 08:20 and 09:20, we pick up our guests from their hotels in the Side region by bus and begin our tour. After our guide introduces himself and explains the program, we continue our 1-hour journey towards Antalya. During our journey, our guide will tell us about Antalya's past, present, geography, culture, and history as we approach our first stop, Kalpuzkaldıran Waterfall. This is Antalya's largest waterfall. The Düden River, originating in the Taurus Mountains, flows through fertile plains, sometimes underground, sometimes above ground, before cascading 38 meters down into the Mediterranean Sea. We will have 30 minutes to explore this famous natural beauty. After leaving the waterfall where we took unique photos, we take a boat tour around Kaleiçi from the Kaleiçi marina. There, we see the city walls (built by King H. Attolos of Pontus and further expanded by the Romans, and restored during the Seljuk period – 2nd and 1st centuries BC, 1st and 2nd centuries AD) – and the Seljuk-era structures, including the iconic Yuuli Minaret, madrasas, Ottoman houses, and mosques. We then see the miles-long Konyaaltı beach and cliffs, the Taurus Mountains, and the magnificent city of Antalya, this time from the sea. The boat tour lasts 45-50 minutes and includes a small waterfall. After a 30-minute journey, we arrive at our final stop, Kaleiçi. Upon arrival, our guide will tell us the meeting point and time, and our two-hour free time begins. During this time, if you wish, you can stroll through the streets of Kaleiçi (Old Town) and visit Roman-era (2nd century AD), Seljuk (13th century) artifacts, the fluted minaret (a symbol of Antalya), and Ottoman-era mosques and houses (15th, 16th, 17th, 18th, and 19th centuries). Alternatively, you can go down to the marina and take a 45-minute boat tour around Kaleiçi and have a meal at one of the seafood restaurants. If you prefer, you can shop in the stores and shops. You can sit in any cafe and enjoy a drink while admiring the unique view of Antalya, the Mediterranean Sea, and the Taurus Mountains. As our time is up, we will meet at our designated time, board our bus, and begin our return journey to our hotels. We arrive at our hotels between 17:30. We say goodbye, hoping to meet again on another tour.
