Discover Transylvania: Peles, Bran, Sighisoara in 2 days｜Romania

The first day begins with a journey to Sinaia, where you will visit Peles Castle, once the summer residence of the Romanian Royal Family and now the Peles National Museum. Following this, delve into the legends of Dracula with a visit to Bran Castle. Although Bran Castle has no direct links to Vlad the Impaler, its association with Dracula persists in popular lore. After lunch, explore the historic center of Brasov.

You will spend the night in Sighisoara, where you'll check-in to prepare for the day ahead. Post breakfast, uncover the charms of Sighisoara, the only still-inhabited medieval citadel in Romania. A highlight is the Clock Tower, standing 64 meters tall and featuring four massive walls across four floors. The tower's balcony offers a breathtaking bird's-eye view of Sighisoara.
The next day, we will have to stop to visit the medieval fortress Rupea and Prejmer.
During the summer months (between July and October) Rupea Fortress or the Prejmer Fortress will be replaced with Transfagarasan road.
Transfagarasan Road, noted as one of the world's most spectacular routes. However, it's important to note that the Transfagarasan Road is only open from the end of June to the end of October, depending on weather conditions. Finally, your Transylvanian adventure will conclude as you reach Bucharest at night.
