Product Info

Sintra is a short train ride from Lisbon, bypassing the traffic on Portugal's busiest road. We meet at Sintra train station.
We started exploring Sintra with a short walk to the historic center. Along the way, you'll see iconic buildings, historical landmarks, views and perspectives of the Royal Palace of Sintra.
In the historic center we'll have time to taste Sintra's traditional sweets, wander through the alleys and take in the scenery.
From here, we'll drive to the top of the mountain, where the Moorish Castle and the Royal Palace of Pena give us a wonderful combination of natural and man made beauty.
To access these views, we look for the best vantage points, the different perspectives that enhance the photogenic beauty of the stunning heritage.
We change our route to the mountain valley where Quinta da Regaleira and Palácio de Seteais await us. With their dramatic buildings and unmissable views, these places from different eras leave us in awe.
Still in Sintra, towards the coast, the Monserrate Palace and its vast gardens give us the last viewpoint in Sintra.
Azenhas do Mar is one of the most beautiful viewpoints on the Sintra coast. A fishing village on the hillside above the sea, this place is picture perfect.
Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of the European continent, is without a doubt a must-see and where we will take our time to absorb the views that nature gives us.
Cascais is the last destination and we'll get there by driving along the road by the sea. Crossing the Sintra Cascais Natural Park.
The last stop is Cascais train station. It is located next to the beaches, restaurants, stores, and 3 minute walk from downtown and Cascais Bay.
The train ride to Lisbon takes around 35 minutes and takes you along the seafront.
