Discover some of Iceland’s most remarkable natural highlights on this carefully planned tour, designed to showcase the country’s stunning landscapes while giving you the best possible chance to see the enchanting Northern Lights. Along the way, visit the famous Geysir geothermal area, the stunning waterfalls of Gullfoss, Skógafoss and Seljalandsfoss, the striking Reynisfjara Black Beach, the breathtaking Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon, and the historic Þingvellir National Park.
You will also stop at Friðheimar, where you can explore innovative greenhouses powered by geothermal energy and learn how tomatoes and cucumbers are grown all year round. Blue Lagoon admission and a Blue Ice Cave experience on Vatnajökull Glacier are available as optional extras.
Day 1: Arrival
Make your own way to your hotel in Reykjavík. Airport transfers can be arranged through us. Accommodation in Reykjavík is included in your tour package.
Day 2: The Golden Circle
Meet your guide and begin the Golden Circle tour. Visit Þingvellir National Park, Geysir hot springs, and Strokkur, which erupts every few minutes. At Friðheimar, see geothermal greenhouses where they cultivate tomatoes all year round in harsh climate. Continue to Gullfoss waterfall before staying overnight in the Vík area, with a chance to see the Northern Lights.
Day 3: White Glaciers, Black Sands & Tranquil Lagoons
Travel east to Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon and Diamond Beach, where stunning icebergs rest on black sands. Observe seals in winter and enjoy the interplay of light and ice.
You can also join a blue ice cave tour on Vatnajökull Glacier for an extra cost. Guests not joining the tour will visit Fjallsárlón Glacier Lagoon, known for its floating icebergs, peaceful setting and impressive glacier views. Both options offer a memorable experience in southeast Iceland.
On the return journey, travel through the stunning Vatnajökull National Park. This vast protected area is home to Europe’s largest glacier, dramatic mountain peaks, and powerful waterfalls cascading into deep valleys.
Day 4: Volcanos, Waterfalls & Blue Lagoon
Drive along the south coast, viewing glaciers, waterfalls, and black sand beaches. Stop at Reynisfjara Beach, Skógafoss, and Seljalandsfoss waterfalls. End the day at the Blue Lagoon, where you can soak in mineral-rich waters (optional). Return to Reykjavík for the night.
Day 5: Departure
Make your own way to Keflavík Airport. Optional transfer available.
