Operational Hours Adjustment – Vesak Celebration at Borobudur
Date: 23–30 May 2026: During the Vesak celebration period, all visitor services and operational hours will continue as normal.
Date: 31 May 2026: Please note that several visitor services will be temporarily unavailable due to the Vesak celebration activities, including:
- Borobudur Temple Climb Access
- Temple Courtyard Access
- Borobudur Sunrise & Sunset Programs
- Dagi Abhinaya Picnic
Regular visits will operate from 07:00–14:00 WIB, with access limited to the garden area (Zone 2) only.
From 14:00 WIB onwards, access to the Borobudur area will be reserved exclusively for participants attending the #VesakatBorobudur celebration activities.
