Product Info

1. 🍵 Maeam Jadawon

Established in 1964 by tea master Gang Seong-ho, Maeam Tea Plantation is one of Hadong’s most renowned tea fields. The museum, known as Korea Tea Culture Museum (the first private tea culture museum in Korea), features tea-making artifacts, traditional tea sets, and an experience hall where visitors can learn and participate in the tea-making process. Surrounded by wide, scenic tea fields, it is a perfect place to enjoy both cultural insight and a relaxing cup of tea.

2. 🏡 Choi Champan’s House

This restored traditional hanok estate in Pyeongsari Village is famous as the setting of Park Kyung-ni’s epic novel Toji (The Land). The site consists of 14 hanok buildings, showcasing the lifestyle of Joseon-era noble families. It is also a popular filming location for dramas and movies, and each autumn, the Toji Literature Festival is held here, celebrating the novel’s cultural legacy.

3. 🌟 Starway Hadong

Starway Hadong is a landmark skywalk observatory overlooking the Seomjin River and the Pyeongsari Fields. Built in the shape of a star, the walkway rises about 20 meters high and 150 meters above the river, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the Seomjin River and Mt. Jirisan. The complex also includes a café, a convention hall, and a local specialty shop, making it both a sightseeing spot and a cultural rest area.

4. 🎇 Jinju Namgang Lantern Festival

With origins dating back over 400 years to the Imjin War (1592), the Jinju Namgang Lantern Festival is one of Korea’s most iconic autumn festivals. Thousands of colorful lanterns float along the Nam River, symbolizing wishes and remembrance. The festival features not only lantern displays but also fireworks, light shows, cultural performances, and hands-on lantern-making programs, offering visitors a magical and immersive cultural experience.
