Around 10:00am Puffing Billy Steam Train ride begins~
Arrive around 9:50am, take the 10:00am train from Belgrave Station to Menzies Creek or Lakeside Station, ending at 10:30am. The ride lasts approximately 30 minutes (ticket included).
At the beginning of the last century, Victoria built four low-cost 762mm narrow-gauge lines to develop remote areas, and the Puffing Billy Railway was one of them. Opened on December 18, 1900, the line connected Upper Ferntree Gully and Gembrook, spanning 29 kilometers through forests, fern-filled valleys, and farmland. While the train no longer transports goods or livestock, it carries more passengers than ever before. Today, Puffing Billy is one of Australia's oldest and best-preserved steam railways in the world.
***Due to limited ticket availability, train times may vary daily. The driver/guide will adjust the ride time, itinerary sequence, and lunch location based on the actual train ticket time.
***On some dates, the train operator assigns us a 4:15pm departure time from Lakeside to Belgrave. For these dates, the city pickup time will be delayed to 9:00am, and the return time to Melbourne will be around 7:00pm. If you have booked a flight out of Melbourne, please ensure your departure time is after 9:30pm.
Around 10:45am Dandenong Ranges Botanic Garden
Established in 1960, the Dandenong Ranges Botanic Garden is located in the Dandenong Ranges at an altitude of about 600 meters. Upon arrival, visitors can stroll along the garden paths to enjoy lakes, cherry blossom groves, the Azalea Walk, cloud forests, and classic garden landscapes with Australian characteristics.
Around 12:00pm--Lunch at your own expense in Olinda, Lakeside Visitor Centre, or a winery; the location will be adjusted based on the actual situation of the day.
Around 14:00 Yarra Valley Winery. No admission fee required; wine tasting is optional at your own expense (approx. 15 AUD). Duration is about 1 hour.

4. On some dates, the train operator has allocated us train tickets with a departure time of 4:15 pm, Lakeside to Belgrave. Therefore, the departure time at the meeting point in Melbourne city center will be delayed to 9:00 am. The return time to Melbourne after the tour on these dates is approximately 7:00 pm. If you are booking a return flight from Melbourne, please note that the flight departure time is at least after 9:30 pm.

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations 31 day(s) (inclusive) before the selected date are allowed. Unused orders can be canceled for free
  • For cancellations made 9 to 30 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 50% will apply
  • Cancellation is not allowed between 0–8 days from the selected date. Orders cannot be canceled or modified, and refunds will not be granted.
