Step into the heart of the Northern Territory's farming life with the Katherine Outback Experience, an award-winning show that brings the raw and real essence of the outback to life. Owned by Australian Country Music star Tom Curtain, this unique experience offers a behind-the-scenes look at the world of horse training and working dog demonstrations, celebrating the rich farming history and culture of the region.

Settle into the comfort of elevated seating under the shade of an indoor arena, where every show is a unique display of the bond between trainer and animal. Watch as young horses are saddled and ridden for the first time, and observe the fascinating process of training working dogs of all ages and personalities. The team provides insightful commentary, explaining the psychology behind their techniques and emphasizing the importance of building trust between the trainer and the animals.

Beyond the demonstrations, guests are invited to get up close and personal with the station animals, including horses, dogs, buffalo, and goats. This hands-on interaction adds a personal touch to the experience, making it memorable for visitors of all ages.
