After purchase, product information (QR code) will be sent via email and KakaoTalk notification. Exchanges and refunds are not possible after the QR code is sent or scanned.
To register the eSIM product you purchased on your device, you must have data available (cellular network or Wi-Fi connection mode).
If you delete the registered cellular plan after scanning the QR code, eSIM cannot be used, so please maintain the plan until use is terminated.
It can be pre-installed at the departure location and the usage period starts from the time of connection to the destination network.
If possible, turn off data roaming for your domestic telecommunications company before leaving the country. (Incorrect operation may result in roaming charges overseas.)
Depending on the communication environment of the local telecommunications company, data usage may not be smooth in some areas, and depending on the model used, if the frequency band does not match that of the local telecommunications company, it may connect to 3G or 2G.
The terms and conditions of the telecommunications company that provides the service apply and product options (data provision, number of days of use, promotions, etc.) may change without prior notice.
If eSIM registration is not successful or cannot be used after registration (※ eSIM must be installed), please contact the customer service center. We cannot provide assistance after purchase, and returns/refunds are not possible. [For domestic use in Korea: 1566-9070 / When calling from overseas: 02-775-1401]
Once deleted, eSIM cannot be rescanned or recovered. If you are unable to use the service due to your own negligence or lack of understanding of the usage instructions, as above, you will not be eligible for a refund.
Exchanges and refunds are not possible after the QR code has been sent or scanned.
In case of unavailability due to local telecommunications company network maintenance, natural disaster, or other reasons, no refund will be made.

A Dosirak eSIM offers several advantages over a physical SIM card. It eliminates the need for physical card swapping, reducing the risk of losing your original SIM. Activation is typically done by scanning a QR code, allowing for immediate internet access upon arrival without waiting for delivery or pickup. Both provide data, but eSIMs offer greater convenience and flexibility for modern, compatible devices.
Both KT and LG U+ are major network providers in South Korea, known for their extensive 5G/LTE coverage and reliable service. The "better" choice can depend on your specific travel route, but generally, both offer high-speed data and strong connectivity in most urban areas and popular tourist destinations. Users often report excellent performance from both providers.
Generally, using a Korean eSIM for data services is more cost-effective than relying on international roaming provided by your home country's carrier. eSIM plans are specifically designed for travel, often offering dedicated data packages at competitive rates. International roaming can accrue high charges for data usage, making eSIMs a budget-friendlier option for most travelers.
A Dosirak eSIM primarily provides mobile data connectivity. For making calls and sending texts, it typically relies on internet-based communication apps such as WhatsApp, Line, or KakaoTalk, using its data connection. If traditional local calls and SMS are needed, some eSIM plans might offer an optional add-on for a local number, but this is not a standard feature for all data-only eSIMs.
A Korean eSIM offers superior convenience compared to a Pocket WiFi device. You don't need to carry an extra device or worry about charging it. Installation is digital via QR code, allowing immediate use. Unlike Pocket WiFi, an eSIM is directly integrated into your phone, preventing the need to pick up or return equipment and avoiding potential loss or damage fees for a separate device.
Installing the Dosirak eSIM is straightforward. After purchase, you will typically receive a voucher containing a QR code via email. To activate, simply scan this QR code with your compatible smartphone's camera or through your phone's settings (usually under "Cellular" or "Mobile Data"). Follow the on-screen prompts to add the eSIM profile. The eSIM can be activated within 24 hours of purchase, providing immediate internet access upon arrival in Korea.
To use a Dosirak eSIM in Korea, your smartphone must be eSIM-compatible and unlocked. Most newer smartphone models from Apple (iPhone XR and later), Samsung (Galaxy S20 and later), Google Pixel (Pixel 3 and later), and other manufacturers support eSIM technology. It's recommended to check your specific device's settings or manufacturer's specifications to confirm eSIM support before purchase.
