That day, we joined a day tour to Pohang and Ulsan, departing from Busan. We had originally planned to drive ourselves, but laziness led us to join a tour. Our guide, Nimo, who also served as our driver, was very experienced. Our group of seven rode in a comfortable 11-seater van, first passing through Gyeongju to our first stop, Space Walk. After climbing the small hill, we had about 50 minutes to take photos, and Nimo even found the best spots for us to capture beautiful pictures.
Next, it was lunchtime. He recommended three restaurants to us. Our group members said the seafood knife-cut noodles were delicious and affordable. We had the fried steak, which was just okay; I regretted not having the knife-cut noodles with them.
Next, we drove to Homi-gae (Hwami Cape). Besides being a popular photo spot, Nimo said this hand-shaped rock formation in the middle of the sea is also a popular spot for Koreans to watch the sunrise.
Finally, we drove to Fe01, which we hadn't had high expectations for, but it was a pleasant surprise! My family and I were full of praise for the artist's creativity and craftsmanship! If you're a science fiction fan, you absolutely must visit this place for photos. We returned to Busan at approximately 6:30 PM, concluding a fulfilling 10-hour journey.
The itinerary includes visits to several famous Gyeongju attractions, making it a very efficient way for independent travelers to explore Gyeongju! Every attraction is visited, and a free Hanbok (traditional Korean dress) experience is included, making it excellent value for money. I even managed to buy a limited-edition Miffy on Hwangritan-ro! Jack speaks fluent Chinese and was very helpful with all my questions; I'm very grateful for his assistance during the trip and really enjoyed Gyeongju.
