The long journey was completed safely, including appropriate restroom breaks. I also received a thoughtful message the day before. Since it's a difficult place to get to, I'm very grateful that I was able to take this tour at this price.
I considered taking the train, but this was faster, so I chose this option. The return trip went very smoothly. Thank you. However, on the way there, I was waiting at the agreed-upon hotel, but the car didn't come even after the scheduled time, which was very confusing. In the end, I was kept waiting for an hour and a half.
Our guide was very kind and taught us about the history of the buildings, which made the tour very worthwhile. Their Japanese was also excellent. At the end of the tour, they even made arrangements to contact a restaurant we wanted to go to for dinner, which was incredibly helpful. We booked as a family, but the travel distances were long, and the children were getting tired halfway through, so it might have been too strenuous in the middle of summer or if it had been raining. The Hue cuisine was visually impressive. I felt bad that we couldn't finish everything.
Initially, I was told they couldn't pick me up at the hotel where I was staying, but I was contacted the day before and they came to pick me up. I was also grateful that they were flexible with the return trip. Our guide, Mr. Wong, gave easy-to-understand explanations about the tour, so I was very satisfied!
The train journey took about four hours, departing and arriving on time. The spectacular views of the Hai Van Pass were just as expected. The dining car was also filled with the Vietnamese atmosphere, making it a fantastic train journey.
