Product Info

Leaving early from your accommodation in Puerto Varas, we head directly to the foothills of the imposing Osorno Volcano, which rises to a height of 2,652 meters above sea level. We'll reach the Ski Center to get ready and start our hike from 1,200 meters above sea level towards the Glacier vantage point located on the volcano at approximately 1,800 meters above sea level. The ascent takes at least 3 hours of trekking over sand and volcanic rock in the summer season and over snow in the winter season.
Upon arrival, we can rest, observe the seracs and crevasses that are characteristic of the glacier, and have time for photographs and to eat our packed lunch.
We'll begin our descent towards the Red Crater, one of the volcano's many lateral craters and the most accessible.
We continue descending until we finish our tour at the starting point to begin our drop-off to Puerto Varas.
