Ride a real Solex for a retro and authentic experience in the heart of Carcassonne! This unique morning takes you along small country roads, among vineyards and typical southern landscapes, before enjoying a delicious brunch in the famous medieval city.

The adventure begins in the town center of Carcassonne, where your live guide welcomes you for a short presentation of the Solex. A true icon of French heritage, this motorized two-wheeler, which first appeared in the 1940s, embodies the French art de vivre. With its vintage design and simple operation (the engine is positioned on the front wheel), the Solex offers a gentle and timeless feeling of freedom, ideal for taking the time to discover the surroundings in a different way.

After a quick safety briefing and a gentle introduction to handling, you will set off for a ride of approximately 45 minutes on quiet and accessible secondary roads. The route winds between vineyards, fields, and stone walls, with a few stops to enjoy the landscape, take pictures, or listen to local anecdotes.

You will then arrive at the gates of the Medieval City, a historic jewel listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here, a gourmet brunch awaits you in a charming establishment located within the Cité itself. On the menu: a selection of carefully chosen local and French products. Artisanal cold cuts, local cheeses, golden croissants, pains au chocolat, homemade jams, fresh fruit juice, hot drinks... All served in a friendly and warm atmosphere.

After this moment of relaxation and indulgence, you will get back on your Solex for a must-do photo shoot in front of the ramparts, to capture this timeless moment. Then you will slowly ride back down to the town center, with a light heart and a mind filled with souvenirs.
