Product Info

Begin your adventure with a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Machha Khola, following the Budhi Gandaki River through hills, terraced fields, waterfalls, and traditional villages. From Machha Khola, gradually climb through Jagat, Deng, and Namrung, where the scenery changes from lush forests to alpine terrain and Tibetan-influenced communities.

Continue to Samagaon, surrounded by spectacular Himalayan peaks, and spend an acclimatization day exploring the area and hiking toward Birendra Lake. As you climb higher, reach the traditional settlement of Samdo before continuing to Dharamsala, the final stop before the trek's biggest challenge.

Start early to cross Larke Pass at 5,106 meters, one of the most memorable moments of the journey. The demanding climb rewards you with incredible views of Himlung Himal, Cheo Himal, Kang Guru, and the Annapurna range. After crossing the pass, descend through glacial landscapes and alpine valleys to Bimthang.

The landscape then changes again as you walk through rhododendron and pine forests toward Dharapani. From there, a scenic jeep ride takes you to Besisahar, followed by your final journey back to Kathmandu.

Throughout the trek, your licensed guide provides practical support, local knowledge, and encouragement while sharing stories about mountain life, Buddhist traditions, and the communities along the trail. Stay in simple mountain teahouses, enjoy local meals, meet welcoming villagers, and experience a side of Nepal that feels far removed from the busy cities.
