Product Info

Join us for an unforgettable afternoon adventure in the heart of Oman’s desert — Wahiba Sands (Sharqiyah Sands) — where towering dunes, endless horizons, and Bedouin hospitality await. This tour is ideal for travelers who prefer to start their journey after lunch and enjoy the most beautiful desert light: the golden sunset over the dunes.

Your journey begins with a pickup from Muscat / Nizwa / Sur in a comfortable 4x4 vehicle. After leaving the city behind, we drive through ever-changing desert landscapes before reaching the magnificent Wahiba Sands. Experience the thrill of dune bashing with our expert driver and feel the excitement as your vehicle climbs and glides across the golden sands.

Visit a traditional Bedouin house, enjoy Arabic coffee and dates, and learn about the ancient nomadic way of life that still thrives in Oman’s deserts.

As the sun begins to set, climb one of the high dunes to watch a spectacular desert sunset — a photographer’s dream and one of Oman’s most iconic moments.

For those who wish, you can add an optional camel ride or a traditional dinner in the desert, served in a Bedouin-style camp (additional cost)..

After this magical experience, relax as we drive you back to your accommodation in Muscat, Nizwa, or Sur.

Optional Morning Extension:
If you wish to add more adventure, choose our Wadi Bani Khalid + Wahiba Sands option at the same price. Start your day earlier to swim in crystal-clear pools surrounded by palm trees before continuing to the desert for the afternoon sunset.
