3-Day Antisana & Amazon comunities, Caves, Baños Guided Tour｜Ecuador

Day 1: Antisana Ecological Reserve & Amazon Journey
In the morning, we will depart from the city of Quito and head toward the eastern region of the country, crossing stunning Andean landscapes until we reach the Antisana Ecological Reserve, one of Ecuador’s most important protected areas.

During the visit, you will experience the beauty of the páramo ecosystem, characterized by vast open landscapes, high-altitude lagoons, and remarkable wildlife diversity. With a bit of luck, you may spot iconic species such as the Andean condor, along with many other birds that inhabit this reserve.

Afterward, there will be time for lunch (not included).

We will then continue our journey to the city of Tena to visit the Jumandi Caverns, a fascinating natural cave system where you will enjoy a walk inside while observing rock formations and small streams flowing through the caves.

At the end of the visit, we will continue toward the Ecuadorian Amazon until reaching the lodge, where you will check in.

In the evening, you will enjoy an included dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 2: Amazon Culture & Nature
After breakfast, we will begin the day’s activities by heading to Puerto Misahuallí, a small Amazonian village known for the presence of monkeys in its main square.

We will visit the Monkey Park, where you can observe these curious animals up close as they roam freely in the area.

Next, we will cross the Napo River by canoe to visit the Shiripuno indigenous community, where you will learn more about the traditions, customs, and lifestyle of Amazonian communities.

We will continue to Paikawe Lagoon, a place surrounded by lush vegetation where you can enjoy the tranquility of the natural environment and observe the flora and fauna of the rainforest.

Afterward, there will be time for lunch (not included).

In the afternoon, we will return to the lodge, where you can relax and enjoy its facilities, such as the swimming pool. In the evening, dinner is included, followed by an overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 3: Waterfalls Route in Baños & Return to Quito
After breakfast, we will begin our transfer to the city of Baños de Agua Santa, passing through beautiful Andean landscapes.

Once in Baños, we will start the tour along the famous Waterfalls Route, one of the most scenic routes in the region.

During the excursion, we will take the cable car (tarabita), which crosses the valley and offers spectacular views of the Manto de la Novia Waterfall.

For those seeking more adventure, there will be the option to try canopy/zip-lining (optional activity at your own expense).

We will then visit the impressive Pailón del Diablo Waterfall, considered one of the most spectacular in Ecuador. Here, you will walk along natural trails that bring you close to the powerful cascade.

Afterward, there will be time for lunch (not included).

Finally, we will begin the return journey to Quito, arriving in the afternoon, marking the end of our services.
