Product Info

The Punta Tombo Protected Natural Area hosts the largest continental colony of Magellanic Penguins in the world. Annually, penguins arrive to nest, feed, mate, raise chicks, and molt before migrating. Along interpretive trails, visitors observe penguins up close, learn about native flora, and spot local wildlife like guanacos, maras, choiques, and foxes. Upon arrival, we visit the Interpretation Center to discover the local ecosystem and seabirds coexisting in the reserve.

Secondary Stops: Roads to Isla Escondida are unpaved. Due to weather, roads, or navigation schedules in Rawson, these stops may be adjusted or cancelled.
