Discover the best of the Gold Coast hinterland on a fully guided day tour to Lamington National Park, O’Reilly’s Rainforest Retreat and Canungra Valley Vineyard. This relaxed journey takes you through the beautiful Canungra Valley and up to 1,000 metres above sea level, into World Heritage-listed rainforest.

Your day begins with a scenic drive through Canungra Valley, with a brief stop in Canungra where you can purchase a hot drink. Light refreshments are provided before continuing to Lamington National Park, part of the world’s largest continuous subtropical rainforest.

At O’Reilly’s Rainforest Retreat, your guide will share the fascinating history of the area, including the famous Stinson plane crash. Enjoy a guided rainforest experience and take in the treetop canopy walk, featuring nine suspension bridges up to 16 metres above the ground. You’ll also have the chance to see wild King Parrots and Crimson Rosellas during the famous bird feeding experience.

Next, visit Kamarun Lookout for spectacular 300-degree views across the Scenic Rim, Gold Coast and Brisbane. Then, continue to O’Reilly’s Canungra Valley Vineyard, set beside a mountain stream, where you can enjoy a glass of sparkling wine, explore the vineyard and meet the alpacas at Mountain View Alpacas.
