Product Info

Begin at Way to Moab’s downtown office, where private guest parking makes check-in simple. Meet your guide, get fitted with a personal flotation device, and travel along Scenic Highway 128 beside the Colorado River into Moab’s red-rock canyon country.

Launch into the Fisher Towers section of the Colorado River, also known locally as the Moab Daily. This scenic stretch combines long, relaxing floats with approachable Class I–II rapids. Water levels change throughout the season, so spring trips may bring larger waves while summer and fall generally provide a calmer, scenery-focused experience.

Way to Moab keeps this trip to eight guests or fewer, creating a more personal and flexible experience than a high-volume river tour. Your guide handles the river navigation while sharing stories about Professor Valley, Fisher Towers, local geology, wildlife and the history of the Colorado River corridor. When conditions permit, there will be opportunities to swim, cool off and enjoy the river without rushing through the day.

During the trip, stop for an individually prepared sandwich lunch from a local Moab deli. Drinking water is provided throughout the experience. Guests are welcome to bring additional snacks or drinks, with additional but limited cooler space.

Continue downriver as the open valley transitions into taller canyon walls and classic Moab scenery. After reaching the take-out, relax during the return transportation to the downtown office.

This activity is best for families, couples, first-time rafters and multigenerational groups who value scenery, personal guiding and plenty of time on the Colorado River. It is not an extreme-whitewater trip; the experience combines mild rapids, peaceful water, swimming and one of the most recognizable red-rock landscapes in the Southwest.
