This course is the first step in the canoe progression program recognized by Canot Kayak Québec. It's for people who want to develop a solid foundation for safe canoeing, whether for leisure, the outdoors, or expeditions.

Supervised by a certified Aquaventure instructor, the training combines theoretical and practical learning in a calm and safe natural environment.

On the agenda:

Essential paddling techniques at the front and back of the canoe

Propulsion and directional control

Tandem communication and coordination

Safety rules in a nautical environment

Rescue and recovery techniques

Safe handling and transportation of equipment
