Goan jungle village tour with elephant experience

Beneath a thick canopy of green, your local guide will reveal the secrets of the Goan jungle on this full-day tour. As they lead you into the forest, the sights and sounds of the jungle will come alive as you hear stories of survival and sustainable living. A big part of surviving in the jungle is understanding the plants, so your guide will point out wild spices and medicinal plants.

After picking up some fresh produce from the fruit stand, it's time to help prepare some snacks for the elephants. Then your local guides will explain how elephant dung paper is made and how the elephant carers gently communicate and connect with these majestic creatures. Once the elephant food is ready, you'll have a chance to feed them yourselves.

There's a break for lunch before heading to the eco-village to learn more about how the locals live in harmony with the jungle. They'll welcome you into their houses and show you the sustainable efforts they're making, like turning kitchen waste into cooking gas. Then, for the last hour of the tour it's your turn to swim and splash or simply float in a natural pool, taking in your exotic yet peaceful surroundings.
