-What you can expect-
You can choose between the following options available in the order box: Big Island Self-Guided Driving Tour (Option 1); Explore Hawaii's Beauty Self-Guided Driving Tours Bundle (Option 2).

Your tour begins outside the quaint town of Kailua-Kona. First, visit the historic Hulihe’e Palace, once a royal vacation home. Drive south to Magic Beach, known for its disappearing sand, and Kahalu'u Beach, a snorkeling haven. Explore the sacred Lekeleke Burial Grounds and the ancient Hikiau Heiau, followed by a stop at Pu'uhonua O Honaunau National Historical Park for a historical deep dive.

Learn about Hawaii’s cowboys at Honaunau Rodeo Arena, and encounter Pele’s lore at Pebble Beach. Optionally, explore the Kula Kai Caverns, remnants of volcanic activity. Marvel at the black sands of Punalu'u Beach and pass an old sugar plantation before reaching the towering volcanoes Kilauea and Mauna Loa, with a chance to visit Hawaii Volcanoes National Park.

Drive through Hilo, then enjoy the beauty of Liliuokalani Park and Gardens. Watch surfers at Honoli'i Beach and hike the scenic trail at Onomea Bay. Visit the Hawaii Tropical Bioreserve & Garden and the historic Honohina Hongwanji Mission. Continue past the Laupahoehoe Train Museum to the stunning ocean views at Laupahoehoe Point.

Relax at Hapuna Beach, the island's largest white sand beach, or the local favorite, Beach 69. Walk the Kings Highway Foot Trail to see ancient Waikoloa Petroglyphs, followed by scenic overlooks and Kekaha Kai State Park. Your comprehensive tour ends north of where it started, encapsulating the rich culture, history, and natural beauty of the Big Island.
