You can hop on and off at any of the stops to explore on your own. Buses run at regular intervals, so rejoining the tour is easy and convenient. Your hop-on hop-off ticket includes unlimited rides per loop during hours of operation.

Choose among Discover, Essential and Explore tickets:

Discover ticket: Carefully designed to show you the city's top landmarks and attractions, including Emirates Palace Hotel and Saadiyat Island. Within 24 hours you can hop off the bus at any of the stops, and hop back on when you're ready.

Essential ticket: See more of Abu Dhabi's famous landmarks with the 48-hour ticket option. This ticket also includes a return shuttle to Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, a shining architectural wonder and icon of Abu Dhabi that can accommodate up to 40,000 worshippers. Entrance to Louvre Museum

Explore ticket: Get to the heart of Abu Dhabi with the 72-hour Explore ticket. Hop on and hop off to explore Abu Dhabi at your own pace, and enjoy a return shuttle to Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque and entrance to the Presidential Palace. The Palace is a must-visit for its intricate design and ornate decoration.   • Meeting point description: Redeem your voucher for your tickets at any Big Bus hop-on hop-off stops. Sheik Zayed Mosque shuttle departs from Abu Dhabi Mall at 12:00 pm and 2:30 pm.

  • Know in advance:The ticket is valid for 180 days after purchase

  • Tickets valid for more than 1 day must be used across consecutive days

  • Children (age 0-4): Free

  • Commentary on the bus is available in 8 languages: including English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Arabic, Russian and Mandarin

  • Note, service may be suspended and/or altered at any time and without notice. Customers are advised to check the Big Bus website for the most up-to-date information regarding detours and closures, or to download the Big Bus App to live track buses and find stops near them

  • City tour - Red route: Total duration of 1 hour and 50 minutes, it runs every 60 minutes from 9:00 am to 5.00 pm

  • Presidential Palace: Open from 9.00am to 7.00pm, the guided tours depart every 30 minutes, and last 60 minutes. Please note, to enter the palace women must dress modestly, with long sleeves, a long skirt or trousers; men must wear trousers (shorts not permitted)

  • Sheik Zayed Mosque: The mosque is free to enter. General visiting times are Saturday-Thursday 09:00 am - 10:00 pm. The mosque is closed to tourists on Friday mornings, it reopens for tourists after 4:00 pm. During the month of Ramadan, you can visit it between 09:00 am - 2:00 pm, but the mosque is closed all day on Friday. Please note, to enter the mosque women must wear either long skirts, dresses or trousers, as well as long sleeves and a headscarf; men must wear long trousers, shorts and sleeveless tops are not permitted. Visitors who do not follow the dress code will be refused entry
