St. Mark's Basilica guided tour with History Gallery

Meeting point description: With Piazza San Marco and the arches of Museo Correr at your back and the Poste Italiane (Post Office) in front of you, find on your left Venice Tours Assistance Point, the big grey newsstand (with many souvenir and newspapers). The newsstand is located between Fendi Boutique and Poste Italiane (Post Office) and has the sign "VENICE TOURS – ASSISTANCE POINT". Please arrive at the meeting point 10 minutes before the departure time.(gondola ride, Calle larga de l'Ascension, Venice, Metropolitan City of Venice, Italy)

Important Information:Live commentary by a professional local guide in English and commentary by audio guide in French, Spanish, German and Italian

Accessibility:Not suitable for wheelchairs, and those with reduced mobility

Extra fees to be paid on-site:The official St. Mark’s Basilica ticket price is €12.00 per person (standard) or €24.00 with terrace access; the remaining part of the price covers assistance at the meeting point, accompanied entry with a certified guide or host, access to the Venice Gallery with a dedicated VR experience, the use of an audio guide or radio system with earphones and sales costs

The ticket includes the access to the ground floor of the Basilica. While the access to the Pala D'Oro €5 and St. Mark's Museum €7 have to be paid on site

Not allowed:For security reasons, bags, purses, and backpacks are not allowed inside the Basilica

Know in advance:The tour does not operate in case of exceptionally high tide or religious functions; in these cases, it will be postponed or refunded
