Explore the mountain of Montserrat with this tour from Barcelona! You'll visit the Sanctuary of the Virgin Mary of Montserrat and the Benedictine monastery and also enjoy the Escolania boys’ choir, one of the oldest music schools in Europe.

Then, you'll visit the Montserrat Museum which hosts one of the most important art collections in Catalonia with works by Caravaggio, Picasso, Dalí, Monet and many other well-known artists.In the Audiovisual Room, you'll also learn about the three main elements about Montserrat: the mountain, the monastery and the sanctuary.

  • Please refer to your voucher for final information regarding meeting points, pick-up locations, and pick-up time

  • Meeting point description: Please go at the information office. The Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya trains to Montserrat leave every hour beginning at 8.36am from the Barcelona - Pl. Espanya station.(Plaça Espanya, 9999, 08014 Barcelona, Spain)

  • Children under 4 years old do not need a ticket

  • Please note that the Boys' choir sings from Monday to Friday except from June 17th to August 24th

  • The time of your booking will be the time at which you will attend to the singing of the "Escolania" Boys' choir, you can do the rest of the visit before or after this time

  • Please note that the Throne of the Virgin is open from 8 to 10.30 am and from 12 to 5.45 pm, you will be assigned a time slot for your visit at the Information Office

  • You can pick up your audio guide, map and informative booklet at the Information Office after showing your ticket

  • Audioguides are available in the following languages: English, French, Japanese, German, Russian and Dutch

  • You can choose the train return time
