Product Overview📖

Located in the Qingxin District of Qingyuan City, Gulong Gorge Rafting is built along a natural riverbed. It is a professional course that has hosted multiple international natural water rafting competitions and is a designated venue by the General Administration of Sport of China. The course spans 6,063 meters with a total drop of 378 meters and a top speed of 72 km/h. Divided into a standard course and an extreme course, it is the longest, steepest, and fastest rafting project in Guangdong Province, having successfully challenged two world records.

Known as the 'roller coaster on the waves,' the course features an average slope of 9.5% and a thrilling 180-degree turn called 'Dragon's Look-back.' The canyon is dense with ancient trees, forming a natural 'forest tunnel' where temperatures stay below 22℃ year-round. It is one of the few rafting spots in Guangdong where sunscreen is unnecessary. The water is sourced from Gulong Cave, known for its icy, crystal-clear quality. As the industry saying goes, 'China's rafting is in Qingyuan, and Qingyuan's rafting is in Gulong.' The course was designed by international experts and holds multiple official safety certifications. In 2019, the 'Amazon Tribe' theme was introduced, featuring fun areas like Gorilla Island, Crocodile Pool, and Dinosaur Valley for an immersive experience.

Scenic area lockers (Standard: 30 RMB, Valuables: 50 RMB), personal meals, and rafting gear (waterproof phone bags, change of clothes, water guns/scoops, sandals/crocs, etc.)

General | Rafting Safety Guidelines⚠️ (Applies to all packages)

🔑Please do not bring car keys, phones, cameras, necklaces, bracelets, watches, etc., onto the raft. We recommend storing them at the visitor center. The park is not responsible for any lost or damaged items during the activity.

🚫Prohibited Participants: Men aged 60 and over, women aged 55 and over; children under 1.2 meters; individuals under the influence of alcohol, disabled individuals, pregnant women; and those with mental health conditions, heart disease, cardiovascular/cerebrovascular diseases, fractures, lumbar disc herniation, or cervical spondylosis.

🦺Life jackets and helmets must be worn before rafting. During the activity, it is forbidden to remove your helmet, splash water, get off the raft, or stand up.

🤝Hold onto the safety straps inside the raft at all times, pay attention to warning signs, and follow the instructions of on-site staff.

⛰️When passing through drops, hold the safety rope tightly, tuck your feet in, and lean your body toward the center of the raft.

🆘If the raft flips, stay calm and get to the shore or seek help from safety personnel as soon as possible.

🌀If the raft gets stuck in a whirlpool, adjust your direction and center of gravity within the raft. Do not jump into the water to push the raft; seek assistance from staff immediately.

🛶Standard rafts seat 2 people; actual capacity is subject to the arrangements of on-site staff.

📄Those eligible for discounts must present original identification at the ticket office to purchase tickets.
