Naples: Capri, Sorrento, and Pompeii Shore Excursion｜Italy

Begin your experience at 7:30AM with a meet and greet with your personal tour guide at the Naples cruise port. From there, catch the hydrofoil to Capri, where you receive 4.5 hours of free time to enjoy some of the highlights of the island.

Take the funicular to reach Capri's center - the hub of town formed by homes complete with terraces and pergolas. The Baroque church of Santo Stefano dominates the square with its Arabesque dome and priceless Roman pavement. Not too far away you can discover the Certosa of San Giacomo, which is a display of typical Caprese architecture. The gardens of Augustus with its view over Faraglioni Rocks and the marina are also simply stunning.

The most important monument of Capri is the San Michele Church, complete with its beautiful majolica pavement. This is where the famous Villa San Michele stands, built on Ancient Roman ruins. You can then choose to travel by chairlift up to Monte Solaro - the highest point of the island. Before returning back to the marina, time is issued for a light lunch before you travel by hydrofoil back to Sorrento.

Upon your arrival in Sorrento, meet with your personal driver and private van to venture towards Pompeii along the scenic route of the Sorrento Peninsula. Admire the towering cliffs dipping almost completely into the beautiful blue sea, and breathe the air, heavy with typical scent of the Mediterranean.

Once in Pompeii, your guide begins to show you the highlights of this incredible and evocative archaeological site. Receive a complete picture of the Roman lifestyle of the time by visiting the forums, old markets, thermal baths, villas, and original cobble-stone streets. Following two hours touring Pompeii, regroup with your driver to return back to the Naples cruise port.
