Know Before You Go: Modest attire is required for St. Peter’s Basilica, the Vatican Museums, and the Sistine Chapel, meaning shoulders and knees must be covered for all participants; no hats or flip flops please
Know Before You Go: The final portion of the dome climb (320 steps) must be done by stairs, even with elevator access to the first level
Know Before You Go: The Basilica is closed on Wednesday mornings due to the Papal Audience. During state visits or special religious events, parts of St. Peter's Basilica may be closed unexpectedly and without much notice, in which case we will reach out to assist you in rescheduling
