Tour of the Alcazar of Seville｜Spain

Seville is a city full of monuments and, without a doubt, one of those that cannot be missed on your trip are the Reales Alcázares. Declared a World Heritage Site since 1987, it is a palatial complex in which both Muslim and Christian vestiges meet. In it, we see the passage of history and become direct witnesses of great events that have taken place within it, such as the wedding of Charles V with Isabel of Portugal, or the creation of the first Casa de la Contratación.
As if it were an Art History book, exploring the gardens, patios and palaces of this monument takes us through the different construction and artistic stages of the city. After passing through the famous entrance gate of the León and the gardens that follow, from the Patio de la Montería we appreciate the three great buildings of the complex: the Gothic Palace of Alfonso X, the Mudéjar Palace of Pedro I and the Casa de la Contratación. After visiting the interior of these places and the jewels they hide, we arrive at the Mercury Pond and the gardens, also famous for having been a filming location for the Game of Thrones series.
