Product Info

Departing from Seville, we head south on a one-hour drive to reach the coastal province of Cádiz.

Our first stop is Jerez de la Frontera, a city renowned for its sherry (Xerez), Andalusian horses, flamenco music and dance, and its strong ties to motor racing.

After a short walk through the charming streets of this Andalusian city, we’ll visit one of its historic wineries located in the old town.

There, we’ll sample some of its world-famous fortified wines. Jerez is considered the global capital of sherry and has become a major hub for wine tourism.

We’ll then continue our journey through El Puerto de Santa María — known as the port from which Christopher Columbus set sail for the Americas — before arriving in the city of Cádiz, affectionately called the “Silver Cup” ("Tacita de Plata").

This picturesque coastal town is known for its shimmering sea views and warm, welcoming atmosphere. The locals, known as gaditanos, are famous for their wit and humor.

Our guide will lead you through the historic city center, near the Cathedral of Santa Cruz, as we explore what is considered the oldest continuously inhabited city in Europe, with over 3,000 years of history.

The cathedral, built atop an old Muslim mosque, is a prominent landmark visible from many parts of the city.

To finish off the day, you’ll have free time to relax at one of Cádiz’s beautiful beaches — like La Caleta — or wander through the narrow lanes of the vibrant Barrio de la Viña or the historic El Pópulo district, two of the most traditional neighborhoods in Andalusia.
