Welcome to a 1-hour tour of the enchanting village of Sintra, on a super fun tuktuk ride (Piaggio Ape Calesino 200). With a private guide, you will have the best panoramic views and learn everything you need to know about the city's monuments.

You will be picked up at the Sintra train station, which is an easy-to-access meeting point.

At this point, you will be driven through the city towards Fonte da Sabuga, a water fountain full of history, rebuilt in the 18th century.

Next, we will stop at a viewpoint where you will see the Palácio Nacional de Sintra, one of the oldest palaces in Portugal. This was often used by the royal family as a summer residence.

Next, we will head towards Palácio Biester, the setting used in the filming of the movie Ninth Gate, starring actor Johnny Depp and director Roman Polanski. This palace enchants everyone with your architecture.

Around the streets of Sintra, we will see the old buildings of the city and all the nature until we reach the viewpoint where we will see the medieval fortress built in the 9th century, the Castelo dos Mouros.

After learning about the history of the Castle, we will see one of the most famous palaces in Portugal, the Palácio da Pena. With the best view from outside the Pena gardens, it will be time to take lots of photos and learn interesting facts about the colorful palace of Sintra.

To end the tour, you will have the option of staying at the monument whose interior you want to visit, going to the historic center or to the train station.
