Before installing an eSIM, please ensure you are connected to Wi-Fi or mobile data to scan a QR code or manually enter it to join the mobile plan. (After updating your iPhone to iOS 17, you can directly select "Open Photos" to scan the QR code in the image on your phone to install.)
Please follow the instructions for installation. Do not exit the installation process during the process, otherwise your phone may mistakenly delete the eSIM plan.
A QR code can only be scanned once by one mobile phone, and cannot be changed after being bound.
If an error message is displayed after scanning, it does not mean the eSIM is invalid. Please restart your device and check on the mobile service page to see if the eSIM is already bound to your phone, or contact customer service for assistance. Do not scan other QR codes without authorization, as this may cause duplicate binding and lead to eSIM invalidation.
Please activate your eSIM within 180 days of receiving it. Activation and use will not be possible after the expiration date; otherwise, refunds or extensions will not be possible.
Please delete the profile on your iPhone (check steps: Settings -> General -> Device Management, scroll to the bottom; if there is no profile, it's normal), to avoid any issues with its use.
eSIM plans that are not fully used or deleted without customer service verification cannot be reissued or refunded.
Scanning the QR code counts as the first day of your usage period. It is recommended to scan the code before departure or after arriving at your destination to avoid premature activation affecting your usage rights. A day is counted after midnight (GMT+8) in Taiwan, not in a 24-hour system.
Telecommunications network quality varies from country to country, and base station coverage is not as dense as in Taiwan. Each country has its own regional and telecommunications infrastructure differences, therefore refunds cannot be requested due to signal conditions in a few areas. If you encounter poor signal, you can manually switch telecommunications providers. To switch providers: Network Selection/Telecommunications Provider > Auto-Off > Search will provide different telecommunications providers to choose from.
If you are unable to use the service upon arrival at your destination, please contact LINE customer service. After-sales service cannot be provided after you return to your home country.
