Product Info

Our first destination (the order of visits may be changed due to operational reasons) will be the 5th Station of Mt. Fuji, located at 2300 m above sea level and reached after a drive on the winding Subaru Line Panoramic Road. Weather permitting, you will be able to view the surrounding countryside and even see the summit of this sacred mountain!
After this visit, you will enjoy your lunch (if you have included the meal plan) . Please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions or allergies when you book.
Continue to the Ōwakudani Volcanic Area, an area of secondary volcanic activity that will remind you that Japan is a country full of volcanoes. Fumaroles and sulfataras will be visible in all directions. Here you can taste "kurotamago" (black eggs boiled in sulfur water)!
After your time at Ōwakudani, take the Hakone Ropeway down to Ashi Lake for a spectacular view of the area. The cruise across Lake Ashi is included, so you can enjoy the scenery not only from above, but also from the water.

If the weather is bad or too humid, Mount Fuji might be not clearly visible or totally covered. Kindly understand that we do not provide any refund in this case.

If the Hakone Ropeway and the Hakone Pirate Ship are unable to operate due to any circumstances, the tour will be rerouted to one of the following alternative destinations: Hakone Komagatake Ropeway, Hakone Lake Ashi Boat Cruise, Lake Kawaguchi Cruise on Lake Kawaguchi, Mt. Fuji Panoramic Ropeway, Mishima Skywalk, Odawara Castle, Hakone Venetian Glass Museum, Hakone-en Aquarium, Narukawa Art Museum, Hakone Checkpoint, Hakone Shrine, among the others.
(The tour will not be canceled and no refund will be given for this reason.).

If you want to disband at Odawara Station and return to Tokyo with a bullet train (ticket handed to you by the guide), chose the "return with bullet train" plan.

If you already have your own Japan Rail Pass and want to return to Tokyo by it, kindly chose the "Disband at Odawara or Hakone" plan, and inform the guide on your tour day.

The tour guide will not board the bullet train from Odawara to Tokyo due to operational reasons. The tour guide will provide important information to guests returning by bullet train before boarding the train.

This tour lets you enjoy both classic and local experiences, taking in the spectacular views of Fuji and Hakone while riding the ropeway and sightseeing ferry. Next, in the seaside castle town of Odawara, our local guides (Attenjers) will take you to an observation deck overlooking Odawara City, Sagami Bay, the Hakone mountain range, and Odawara Castle. Afterward, explore Odawara Castle and stroll through the town with your guide's commentary. When you get a little peckish, we'll take you to a local restaurant representing Odawara. With Attenjers there, ordering is worry-free! Then, for the second stop, enjoy a different kind of local spot where you can interact with locals—a brand-new, fully satisfying plan!
