Travel in comfort on a private chartered taxi, choosing from a standard taxi, Alphard, or jumbo taxi for a relaxed journey with family or friends. Pick-up and drop-off are provided at hotels in Nagasaki City or at Nagasaki Station, allowing you to start the day smoothly and without stress.
Enjoy a healthy lunch prepared using traditional hot spring steam on the Shimabara Peninsula, an area shaped by active volcanic activity. Cook your meal with natural geothermal steam from Obama Onsen, known for having the highest source temperature in Japan at 105°C, and experience a unique local food culture powered by the earth itself.
The steam cooking experience begins with shopping for ingredients, just like the locals do. Visit neighborhood supermarkets or direct sales depots and select fresh, seasonal produce with support from your guide-driver, adding an authentic local touch to the experience.
Sightseeing during the day is flexible and can be adjusted based on your interests and pace. Your guide-driver will suggest routes and hidden spots that are difficult to reach on your own, offering a personalized journey made possible by a chartered taxi.
Take in sweeping views of Tachibana Bay from Chijiwa Observatory, one of Japan’s Top 100 Landscapes. If time allows, try the observatory’s popular local snack, Jaga-chan, made from potatoes and loved by visitors (available at your own expense).
Vehicle capacity is as follows:

Standard Taxi: up to 2 passengers
Large Alphard Taxi: up to 4 passengers
Large Jumbo Taxi: up to 8 passengers

Minimum Participants: This tour is available for one participant.
If Alphard vehicles are unavailable, a jumbo taxi may be used even for one participant.
Pick-up and drop-off available from Nagasaki City hotels, Nagasaki Station, or desired locations in the city center.
Extension Fees: If you request an extension on the day of the tour, additional charges apply as follows: Standard Taxi ¥2,630 per 30 minutes; Specific Large Taxi ¥3,880 per 30 minutes. Payment is made on site.
Steam Cooking Notice: Please follow the instructions provided by the facility staff. Take care when opening lids, as hot steam may cause burns.

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations 11 day(s) (inclusive) before the selected date are allowed. Unused orders can be canceled for free
  • For cancellations made 8 to 10 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 20% will apply
  • For cancellations made 2 to 7 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 30% will apply
  • For cancellations made 1 to 1 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 40% will apply
  • For cancellations made 0 to 0 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 50% will apply
NOTE
  • Due to time zone differences, the confirmed cancellation date is based on the supplier’s local time. Please allow 2–5 business days to process your cancellation request, after which the cancellation fee will be charged according to the product’s cancellation policy. Once your refund request is confirmed, KKday will initiate the refund to your original payment method within 15 days. The actual refund timing depends on your card-issuing bank’s policy.
