Even beginners and children can easily enjoy the painting experience! In this plan, you can freely draw letters or patterns on finished lacquer chopsticks using 5 colors of natural lacquer. It is also recommended as a gift for someone special. In our welcoming shop, we offer a wide range of items from affordable lacquerware to authentic pieces. The rural scenery visible from the shop is spectacular and highly acclaimed by our customers. Please be sure to visit us when you come to Yamanaka Onsen. Why not create your own original work by drawing pictures on lacquer chopsticks as a memento of your trip to Yamanaka Onsen?
  • Lacquerware that lives with people!
  • At Urushi no Utsuwa Asada, we provide domestically produced lacquerware that can be used close at hand in daily life. While preserving the tradition of Yamanaka lacquerware, which values the texture of the wood base and grain, we propose new lacquerware and ways of using it that perfectly fit modern lifestyles, as well as the lifestyles of you and your family. Lacquerware is a 'living thing' that breathes and grows. Please nurture it into your own one-of-a-kind piece in the world.
