  • This course is perfect for those who want to try sea kayaking at least once, even if only for a short time. After a brief introductory lesson, you will head out onto the water.
  • It is a short session, so there is no need to worry about your fitness level!
  • The half-day course involves about 2 hours of paddling, so those who are not confident in their physical strength can participate with peace of mind. Beginners are also welcome to join. Elementary school students must be accompanied by a guardian.
  • You can fully enjoy the charm of the experience.
  • Although it is only a half-day, you will be able to fully appreciate the appeal of sea kayaking.

Regarding the cancellation of the event:

  • Please note that the event may be canceled or its content changed depending on the weather.

Important notes regarding course participation:

  • Lockers, showers, and changing rooms are only available during the swimming season, from July 1st to August 31st.

Other special notes:

  • We recommend purchasing accident insurance (¥500), but the decision to purchase it is entirely up to you.

Reminders

  • Ages of participation: 6 to 100 years old

  • Regarding clothing and belongings: Please wear clothing that you don't mind getting wet. (Even if you don't capsize, your bottom and arms will get wet.) During hot weather, treat it like swimming in the sea. However, don't forget sun protection. Also, depending on the weather, it can get chilly, so please bring a windbreaker or raincoat just in case. Other items to bring include shoes or sports sandals that you don't mind getting wet (going barefoot is dangerous), a hat, a change of clothes, drinks, rain gear or something similar, sunglasses, etc.

  • Regarding rental equipment: We will provide the complete kayaking set (kayak, paddle, and life jacket).

  • Minimum number of participants: 2

How to Get There
・Meeting time: 13:00 *After meeting, you will receive an explanation of basic operations and safety on land before heading out to sea. The experience ends at 15:30. ・Meeting point: Hamanomiya Beach Parking Lot, Kemi, Wakayama City. We recommend the area under the Sun Bridge, as it provides shade from the sun.

How to Get There
* By car: Approximately 30 minutes from the Wakayama Interchange on the Hanwa Expressway, and approximately 10 minutes from the Kainan-Higashi Interchange. * By train: Approximately 30 minutes by bus from JR Wakayama Station to Marina City via Hamanomiya Beach (operates only on Saturdays and Sundays).

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations 4 day(s) (inclusive) before the selected date are allowed. Unused orders can be canceled for free
  • For cancellations made 3 to 3 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 30% will apply
  • For cancellations made 2 to 2 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 40% will apply
  • For cancellations made 1 to 1 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 50% will apply
  • Cancellation is not allowed between 0–0 days from the selected date. Orders cannot be canceled or modified, and refunds will not be granted.
NOTE
  • Due to time zone differences, the confirmed cancellation date is based on the supplier’s local time. Please allow 2–5 business days to process your cancellation request, after which the cancellation fee will be charged according to the product’s cancellation policy. Once your refund request is confirmed, KKday will initiate the refund to your original payment method within 15 days. The actual refund timing depends on your card-issuing bank’s policy.
