- Niew Petsu Glass Art Institute, a glass workshop in Wattsu, Kitahiroshima City, offers glassblowing experiences. Even beginners can have a fun glassmaking experience. Please come and visit us.
- Choose your favorite items in any color scheme
- You will create one item of your choice from a selection of cups, bowls, pitchers, vases, and more. Please choose from the samples in the gallery. You will create your glass by winding molten glass at 1100 degrees with an iron blowpipe. You will work alongside the instructor, so even beginners can participate. Combine around 13 colors to create your favorite color scheme.
- Relax at the cafe
- The workshop takes about 15-20 minutes, so feel free to join in. The workshop also has a gallery and cafe where you can relax and enjoy snacks and tea. Enjoy a relaxing time in a natural setting. Your finished piece will be shipped the following day or later (shipping fees apply). You can also pick it up.
