Located in a corner of Yokohama Bay, Yokohama Hakkeijima Sea Paradise is an island complex featuring 4 major themed aquariums, an amusement park, shopping malls, restaurants, and hotels, perfectly blending the themes of 'Sea, Island, and Living Creatures.' It is the only marine leisure complex in the metropolitan area that utilizes an entire island.
The 'Marine Resort' consists of 4 aquariums with different themes. The Aqua Museum is one of Japan's largest, housing over 120,000 marine creatures across 700 species, and features live dolphin and sea lion shows. Umi Farm is an experiential aquarium themed around 'sea education,' designed to foster a better environment for marine life; it includes a dining area where visitors can have the fish they catch or net prepared as deep-fried snacks. At Fureai Lagoon, you can observe dolphins, seals, and other marine animals up close and even interact with them. Dolphin Fantasy allows you to watch dolphins swimming freely around you through a tunnel, offering a truly soothing experience.
The amusement park at Sea Paradise offers a variety of attractions, including the popular Surf Coaster, Blue Fall, the rotating Sea Paradise Tower, and the massive 3D maze 'Ocean,' providing excitement for both adults and children. It is easily accessible from Tokyo and surrounding tourist spots, taking only about 1 hour from popular locations like Asakusa, Shinjuku, and Tokyo, and about 30 minutes from the Yokohama Bay area, Kamakura, and Enoshima. －Admission Rules and Notes－
- Night-time plans (Night Aquarium Entry Ticket, Night Pass) are valid from 15:00 or 16:00 depending on the date.
- Unlimited ride passes cover most amusement rides; some special paid attractions require separate purchase and are not included.
- Please have a representative present the voucher at the designated counter to redeem physical tickets (max 2 people) and queue accordingly; redemption start times may be adjusted during peak periods.
- If you need to re-enter the park on the same day, please get a re-entry stamp at the exit and present your valid ticket and stamp upon re-entry.
- For Bungo Stray Dogs collaboration plans, please redeem your stamp book, original merchandise, and one-day pass at the Communication Circle service counter or Marine Gate service counter in the park. Collect the stamp rally completion prize at the special merchandise venue on 2F of Bay Market Building B. Resale of prizes is strictly prohibited, and event details are subject to change without notice.
－Ticket Usage and Age Requirements－
- Children under 4 years old are admitted for free (no ticket required).
- Depending on the ticket type, you may be asked to provide proof of identity; failure to provide required documents may result in price adjustments or denied entry.
- The YAKIYA BBQ all-you-can-eat plan includes meals only and does not include park admission, aquarium entry, or amusement rides.
- Flexible Date One-Day Passes (Super Early Bird) are non-cancellable and non-refundable once purchased.
- The Bungo Stray Dogs collaboration plan is valid only during the event period from October 1 to November 9, 2026. The collaboration stamp rally voucher includes participation in the stamp rally only and does not include park admission; a valid ticket for aquarium entry and certain amusement rides is required to complete the stamp rally.
Reminders
You cannot enter Hakkeijima outside of the island's opening hours. The opening hours of facilities such as the aquarium are subject to the respective facilities.
When the crowds are large, there may be restrictions on the number of people entering and the use of the facilities. Please understand.
When redeeming tickets, please send a representative to the designated counter to redeem the physical tickets (up to 2 people). Please queue up in order to redeem your tickets. Please be advised.
