Half-Day Program (Morning Session / Afternoon Session)

  • Pick-up from your hotel in Chiang Mai City (Morning session: 7:00-7:30 am; Afternoon session: 12:00-12:30 pm)
  • After pick-up, drive to Living Green Elephant Sanctuary Camp (about 1 hour)
  • Change clothes and listen to a briefing. The sanctuary's policy is to respect and take good care of elephants. Your guide will give you the information about elephants, including how to feed, how to play, and how to interact with them
  • Feed and interact with elephants
  • Walk with elephants to the river
  • Bathe with elephants; if the weather is too cold, the elephants may not want to get into the water. In this situation, the elephants will not be forced
  • After the bathing session, enjoy your meal
  • After meal, say goodbye to the elephants and return to Chiang Mai (2:30 pm or 6:30 pm)

Half-Day Program with Bamboo Rafting

  • Pick-up from your hotel in Chiang Mai City (8:00-8:30 am) 
  • After pick-up, drive to Living Green Elephant Sanctuary Camp (about 1 hour) 
  • Change clothes and listen to a briefing. The sanctuary's policy is to respect and take good care of elephants. Your guide will give you the information about elephants, including how to feed, how to play, and how to interact with them 
  • Feed and interact with elephants 
  • Walk with elephants to the river 
  • Bathe with elephants; if the weather is too cold, the elephants may not want to get into the water. In this situation, the elephants will not be forced 
  • After the bathing session, enjoy your meal 
  • After lunch, enjoy a bamboo rafting session for about 30-45 minutes (if the weather isn't suitable for rafting, then the itinerary will be changed to a full-day one)
  • Say goodbye to elephants and return to Chiang Mai (4:00-4:30 pm)
